Spoilers for Spare Bike up till Ch 84.And just like clockwork, Makishima’s phone buzzes and he schools his features, as if Toudou would be able to see his expression through his phone. He feigns disinterest, like he always does, ignoring the slight flutter in his chest as Toudou chatters in his ear. He looks out his window at the dreary grey skies and unfamiliar faces and knows that his daydreams aren't real, because Toudou is miles away from where he is in London, and he'll probably never know about the way Toudou's gaze makes his heart stutter and the thoughts that he now has of him.
