Sleep took Jayce like a tide, and when he finally surfaced again, the room was quiet all but the faint hum of the mini-fridge. The bed was warm, the pillow sweat-damp under Jayce’s cheek, and the sheets still smelled of him. The space beside him was empty but Viktor’s presence was a weight he felt even before his eyes cracked open.
Jayce stretched, slow, every inch of him sore and humming from the night before. His cock cage tugged pleasantly when he moved, the thick plug inside him a constant weight that made his belly ache sweet. When they finally opened, his eyes tracked across the room to where Viktor sat at his desk, one hand on a neat stack of papers, the other holding a phone to his ear. His voice was low, clipped—business.

“Who did this to you?”
The boy remains still, doesn’t even offer a flicker of acknowledgement. Not the first pampered, overconfident, old-money student to sit in that chair. Francis may not have been born into wealth, but authority is authority, and he has decades of experience in wielding his. “Are you listening to me, child?”
Finally Brandt moves, lifting his gaze and adjusting his glasses with a deliberate slowness. He then exhales, slowly, but with an edge sharp enough to hint at irritation, staring at Francis like his concern is completely unnecessary. “I’m fine,” he says, his voice soft but certain. “There’s no need to make a fuss.”
Francis studies him—the creases in his uniform, the mark on his cheek deepening the longer they linger, the faint bruise just beneath his collar.
“You look more concerned than I am, Father,” Brandt observes.
“You are my responsibility,” Francis scolds, measured and low. “Your well-being is my concern whether you accept it or not.”

“You’ve been praying a long time, Brandt,” Francis softly notes. “What troubles you?”
At first, Brandt doesn’t answer. Instead, he shifts on his knees to face the man of God behind him. “I trouble me, Father,” he then says, barely a whisper. He leans in to rest his cheek on Francis’s knee, trailing a single finger around one of the buttons on his cassock. “I can’t stop myself from sinning… I don’t want to stop.”

We’ve kissed like that once or twice before, but it never went that far. If there was ever a sin that’d damn me to Hell on my judgement day, it’s probably this one. I wouldn’t deny it though, if it’s even a sin. I remember a passage in the Book of Peter that listed the virtues that make one fruitful in the knowledge of our Lord, and it compared godliness to brotherly love. I love my brother, as is the Lord’s word. It would be a bigger sin not to love him… right?
