Summary
In which Courfeyrac's thought process resembles something like this:
Grantaire wants Combeferre. Combeferre wants Grantaire (possibly, all the signs point to that conclusion). Must help Grantaire seduce Combeferre.
(Or, the one where Courfeyrac decides to take matters into his own hands, and smut happens. But first, a seduction plan is laid out - and havoc ensues.)

Summary
The first text comes at 12 AM sharp. Grantaire’s phone pings just as he’s opens a bottle of Jack Daniels, a tumbler waiting on the kitchen counter. He sets down the bottle gently, as though it’s a precious gem, and extricates the phone from his back pocket. The screen reads text from Jehan, and when he swipes it unlocked, a barrage of noise erupts and he almost drops the phone.

Summary
A hypocritical part of him whispers that a slow, landlocked death is immensely pleasurable as long as it keeps those larkspur blue eyes on him. The mostly-silent self-preservation part of him protests, but the barest hint of a smile on Enjolras’ face every time he stashes the flask without opening it is enough to silence the voice once more.

Summary
The wake is held in the main church of Enjolras’ hometown. The pastor is blessing all those who enter and Enjolras’ parents stand with somber expressions in their expensive black suits just inside the entrance, gracefully accepting condolences. A long table at the end of the room offers refreshments and stale cookies. People mill about in a sea of black, and sad faces, a few tears here and there for the dead young man who was troublesome in life but is now a cherubic boy gone too soon.
Enjolras would’ve hated it.

Summary
Enjolras is one of those individuals who would give his life and soul for Paris. His creed is dulce et decorum est, his law pro patria mori. If he were English, he’d say for Queen and Country, but as it is, he obeys no monarchical figure. The monarchy, in Enjolras’ opinion, is an archaic ideology that fell through many times throughout history. Kings and Queens and figureheads are gluttonous, he’d tell you, greedy for the people’s money to fill their coffers – and their coffins.
So perhaps it is slightly confusing that he works for Interpol.

Summary
There are bullet holes in his chest. One, two, three holes, letting blood pour down his front like a leaky faucet with rusted pipes. A wet laugh gurgles its way up his throat at how accurate the analogy is – for what is he but rusty on the inside? Rusty with disuse, broken beyond repair and now, finally, falling apart like an abandoned building. Dying, surprisingly, doesn’t hurt as much as he’d expected it to.

Summary
Feuilly is used to cleaning up split knuckles, stitching wounds and wrapping up sprained wrists. It’s a skill honed from years of looking after Bahorel after his numerous fights. The scent of blood no longer flips his stomach – nor does the sight of it gushing from a broken nose or sluggishly flowing over bones visible from broken skin stretching open over a knuckle.
He hums a little as he dabs antiseptic over the shallow cuts near Bahorel’s left eyebrow, ignoring the occasional wince from the mammoth-sized man in front of him when the cotton catches on the deeper scratches. It had taken him an hour to remove all the pieces of glass that had imbedded themselves in the tawny skin.
“You’re getting pretty good at this,” remarks Bahorel casually. His eyes are flitting around their surroundings, as if that would hide the fact that he keeps stealing glances at Feuilly. “As good as Joly, I’d wager.”

Summary
When R starts toying with the laces of her corset, Enjolras’ fists clench automatically. The sight of this, this girl is causing a low heat to pool in her gut, and she doesn’t like it. She doesn’t like it one bit. (She’s lying.
Her gaze devours R as she slowly and with excruciating preciseness unlaces the corset. She leans forward slightly when R’s fingers teasingly dance across the tops of her own breasts, a couple of fingers dipping into ample cleavage tantalisingly. She holds her breath when R allows the corset to drop from her chest to reveal a sheer bra underneath that matches the lacy underwear; and lace really, really works for R.)
