There's a look that crosses Kei's face that says gee, what a surprise, and Fuma can't blame him because it's been two days since, and oddly enough it turns out that he's the one acting weird and not Nicholas.
"I did something I shouldn't have, and now I can't look at Nicholas."
Fuma doesn't add without getting hard, because not even Kei is ready for that conversation.

Shifting in tiny, sleepy motions, Sion turned his head to bury his nose against Riku’s bare hip. “Smell good,” he muttered. “S’not like you, though.”
Riku paused. “Was that offensive? Are you saying I usually stink?”
“I’m saying you smell like Jaehee.”
“Oh. I wear his sweatshirt sometimes.”
“M’aware.” Then Sion laid his head back down and fell asleep again.
Riku wondered what exactly he was supposed to take away from that. He elected not to think about it.
Jaehee starts courting Riku. Neither of them realizes this and no one finds it pertinent to tell them.

But then a week later, Sion pressed Riku’s lower back against the emergency handrail, bit along his jaw, and it was all fine. They didn’t have to talk much, sort it out much. No questions about what would come next, because they couldn’t know, and they weren’t dating either. Sion knew how to handle Riku. When he licked Riku’s lips, he squeezed his neck and felt the spring-warmth stickiness on his skin again, and it was all fine.

A soft, clumsy part of himself has learned how to move only in reaction to Sion, and it makes him a little stupid. In front of their friends, in front of his own dignity. It makes his smile come easier, his words blurrier, his chest feel fuller. Riku thinks, maybe, it could be the weed making him looser now, but it doesn’t feel new at all.
