Summary
Phil Coulson has been undercover in HYDRA for over a year. What started as an investigation into the disappearances of military-trained submissives has led him to uncover a more horrifying threat. His only hope of putting an end to all of it is Clint Barton, HYDRA escapee and original member of The Three. HYDRA is desperate to regain control of Barton, which makes him Phil’s key to gain access to a remote research station and lure a reclusive HYDRA scientist into the open.
If Phil and his new partner can pull this off, the world will be safer and Phil can finally return to his real life. But after a year spent rising through the ranks of HYDRA, just how much of Phil or his real life are left?
The only way out is through, and it starts with a kidnapping.

Summary
Clint Barton has never seen much of a point in celebrating holidays; his whole life they’ve been something for other people, not him. In the years after Clint joins SHIELD, he learns about friendship and love, and yeah, he learns a thing or two about holidays as well. The life of a SHIELD agent isn’t conducive to ‘normal’ celebrations, but he thinks they get close enough, in the end.
