    Aventurine enters the bathroom quietly, pausing first to take off his jacket and leaving it outside. The tub sits in the centre, large enough for both of them to sit comfortably, if Veritas ever invited him. Veritas, of course, is ensconced within it, eyes half-open, watching Aventurine's approach.

    Aventurine settles onto his knees next to the bath, resting his arms on the side and his chin on his arms.

    "I've been thinking about our anniversary," he murmurs. It feels really a little sacrilegious to speak too loudly here and now, with the only sound the soft shifts of the water.
