But things changed as you grew older, and now that you are both all grown up, responsibility and station have gotten in the way. Cross is the son of Lord Gaster, and prospective heir to the throne for the childless king and queen. You are merely a lowly human servant, at the very bottom of the hierarchy.

    However, you have something not a lot of humans have: magic. This puts you in danger though, because in a society ruled by monsters, humans with magic are feared and eliminated.
