"Don't move."
Kylo's hand slides around your waist, carefully pulling you away from danger and into his chest. As calmly as possible, he draws his sword out of its scabbard and circles the blade towards the sky, holding it diagonal across your body in a protective measure he knows is currently pointless.
"When I yell run," he murmurs, deep voice rumbling beside your head. "Run to Vic..."
You nod slowly, frightened eyes fixed on the giant tentacle snaking its way through the destroyed deck.
