Summary
Victor rose slowly, slipping his mask into place before turning to her.
“Susan Storm,” he said, “please—call me Doctor Doom. There is power in names.”
He looked back at Franklin, who stared up at him, wide-eyed and silent.
“I am leaving this planet,” Doom said. “I have found an Earth without the Fantastic Four. Without Reed Richards.” He spat the name, venomous even through metal.
“Franklin, sweetheart, come here,” Sue said. She didn't like where this was going.
Her son slid off the couch and took a step toward her.
A gloved hand closed around his shoulder.
Sue’s chest tightened, dread blooming fast and sharp.
“He must come with me,” Doom said. His voice was empty. Cold. It reminded her of Galactus—of beings who believed desire was destiny.
Or- a fully self-indulgent fic of what happens after all the movies.

“Oh that’s not good.” Jason said softly. In front of Tim was the door to the panic room. Detached from the wall.
Tim started to panic. What- what now!? They could go to his room, there were locks on the inside of the door, but if the Black Mask could break the front door open then the bedroom doors would pose no problem for him.

Summary
A soft noise distracted him. It was coming from Todd. The man was breathing heavily, and a soft, breathless word could be heard faintly. “Al’akhu al’asghar.”
‘Little brother.’ The word shot straight into Damians soul. That was Arabic, that- Todd called him that before, in, in the League.
“’Akhi?” Damian whispered, stunned. It couldn’t be- Todd didn’t remember him, he never had-
Todd breathed the word out again. “Al’akhu al’asghar,” and turned his head to look at Damian. The blue-green eye that Damian could see was glazed over. Todd was still looking at him, but it was obvious that he assumed he was in a different time.
Or Damian and Jason get trapped under a fallen building and Damian finally gets the heart to heart he needed with Jason.

Jason woke up screaming. He tumbled out of bed and reached for the knife he kept hidden under his pillow. He hissed sharply at a sharp and unexpected pain flaring up against his palm. He yanked his hand back and dropped the knife on the floor, blade shining in the pale sunrise wet with his blood. Blood also coated his arm and the pale blue sheets. He couldn’t worry about that right now. He needed- needed to calm down… ground himself, calm his emotions… breath…
Or: a retelling of Gotham War without the war part, focusing on the aftermath of Bruce ‘fixing’ Jason. Jason’s too hurt to see how much his brothers love him.

Summary
Bruce had been watching Sheila for a while now, trying to figure out why she had called him. They had hooked up once, almost a year ago, and she had disappeared into Gothams streets. Bruce hadn’t really tried looking for her, he had been young and drunk, but a year out as Batman had matured the young man greatly and he regretted his foolishness ever since. None of that mattered right now. All that mattered was the small, helpless child nestled in Sheila’s arm.
Or- Bruce Wayne is Jason Todds father. While he’s figuring that out he gains another child, an orphan named Richard Grayson.

“This one is a bit of an escape artist,” the shelter worker explains, “and he can be quite reactive. Are you sure you wouldn’t like to look at another? He may not be a good fit.”
Ugh, this again.
Jason curls up more tightly, wedging his nose beneath his tail so he can’t see whatever ‘adopters’ have come to peer piteously at him. He considers the logistics of making another escape attempt if the door is opened—until, that is, a boy’s voice abruptly arrests his attention.
“No,” Damian Wayne says, kneeling before Jason’s kennel. “I want this one.”
Jason encounters a villain who turns people into animals.
Damian, meanwhile, adopts a dog.

Summary
Talon felt surprisingly alert as he watched the Owls file in. They were each escorted to their table by a sharp-eyed Talon, one hand resting on their knife and the other keeping a firm hold on their charge. It reminded Talon of how Grandfather used to walk with him, when he wasn’t sure if he’d need to cut out Talon’s heart in order to keep him in check.
He used to be so, so bad. He was very lucky that the Court taught him to be good. Talon tried to remember that, even as his head got fuzzier at the sight of his opponent.
It was an owlet.
He was small, almost as small as Talon. His clothes hung off of him like a scarecrow. Angry, narrowed eyes flitted across the room as he was dragged forward by a Talon on both sides. His mouth was pressed in a thin line, but still he tried to bite the hands hoisting him up. Talon nearly cooed. He had teeth!
or, The Talon that used to be Dick Grayson is tasked with killing a street rat when a deal for the Court goes south. It doesn't go smoothly, but Jason's pretty grateful for that.
