Sometimes she wonders what the people who died for her in Wrenwood and Raccoon City would think about that hobby. That thought is usually a good cue to drink more.Claire Redfield comes to Jordan Heights to find someone to blame for Leon and Sherry. She finds a little girl hiding from her nightmares instead. One who sees things that aren't there and is already doing a better job of punishing herself than Claire ever could.
She doesn't know what to say when Grace thanks her for talking to her, and she doesn't know what to feel when Grace accidentally calls her "mom".

“Uh uh, darling, none of that.” She leans in close and holds Parker’s gaze. Her breath tickles Parker’s lips. When she speaks, her voice is low and velvety. “Good girls are polite to mummy, aren’t they?”
It’s almost funny how hard that hits her. The way Sophie’s accent curves delightfully around the word ‘mummy.’ The tight grip she has around Parker’s wrists. Tara’s body plastered against her back, warm and bare, with her breath hitting Parker’s neck just right. Parker moans and jerks her hips, hard.
“Please?” she whispers on a needy whine. “Please, please, please.”
“Please what, darling?” Sophie asks. She nudges Parker’s head back with her chin so she can look her in the eyes. Her own are dark. Her thumbs sweep soothingly, teasingly, across Parker’s wrists. “I know you can say it. You say it so prettily for Tara, don’t you?”
