Before, Kris had a slight worry about it. That the SOUL would hurt somebody, force them to do something horrible and awful that they couldn’t go back on. But they had been reassured that the SOUL was harmless without a vessel, that without Kris, it couldn’t do much on its own.

Summary
Somehow you must’ve made your way to the mirror because the next thing you realized, you were standing in front of it, staring at the reflection. The person staring back at you had your traits as if you were briefly described by the police—your hair color, your eye color, your height… But you knew it couldn’t be you because the skin on the reflection was too fair and smooth, the pajamas too out of style, and the hair way healthier than you had ever seen. The tiny details from this person in front of you was enough to conclude that although they looked similar to you, they were not you.
Then a bright golden square thing appeared between you and the mirror, scaring you so badly you let out a yelp that overshadowed the ting sound this thing made.

“I don’t think we met yet! I’m the Royal Mage, Jynx!” Jynx introduced herself. “You’re Link, right?”
The Hero took her hand and shook it, giving a silent nod. Not much of a talker but Jynx wasn't caught off guard. She had heard how quiet the Hero was.
“Sorry I couldn’t introduce myself earlier. I was on an expedition when you arrived in Hyrule.” Jynx lifted their joined hands up into the air as she exclaimed, “But now we’re coworkers in protecting Hyrule together! Let’s do our best!”

Her hat engulfed her head, hiding her face as she peered into her large pot. Link watched absentmindedly as she stirred the pot in a calm, circular motion. The warmth of the sun against his back made him feel drowsy, a deadly combo with the comfortable feeling this room always gave him. Usually he would always be alert with his sword ready to be drawn from his back but for now, he sleepily sat at the window seat, his sword against the wall. He had no need for it, not here in one of the safest rooms of the kingdom.
“She’ll warm up to you.”

Summary
You woke up from the nap, sluggish from sleep with your mind still dreaming but one thing was clear to you—you had to use the bathroom.
Bleary-eyed, you attempted to sit up but was stuck underneath a weight on your chest. Your inability to move cleared your sleepiness away, now alerted and confused by what was keeping you on the mattress. Moving your gaze downward, you found a familiar white skull that belonged to a snoring skeleton. Sans was laying on your right side, skull pressing into your chest with his arms wrapped around your torso and legs entangled with yours.
