Izuku swatted Dabi’s hand away. “It was my birthday yesterday…I couldn’t get out of bed. I was- I was jus-”
“Kid, call me next time, please. I get it. I fucking hate my birthdays, too. But you can’t starve yourself. Didn’t your little vigilante help you out?”
Izuku kicked an imaginary rock at his feet. He really didn’t want to admit to the truth, but Dabi was able to guess, regardless.
“You lied to him, too. You told him you ate.” Izuku nodded slowly. Dabi sighed.

Izuku was one of those idiots.
“Kid - get the hell up!” Izuku snapped his attention to Giran
“You wanna fucking tag in, Giran?”
“Fuck no, but if you throw this match I’m out a lot of fucking money.”
Izuku’s opponent was a big fucking bastard, the biggest he’d fought to date, actually.

OR: Izuku is an underground fighter, when the heroes raid his fight, slap a villain rank on his name, and force him into a reform program at UA, will he find a way to keep fighting, to prove to the world (and to himself) that his value doesn't lie in how much blood he can spill?

When Midoriya Izuku breaks pattern, his mother isn't the only one to notice. She's just the only one to know at first that it's him.
A new figure rising to power threatens to topple what little stability there was to the criminal underground but whether he's a friend or foe to the heroes isn't quite clear. One thing's for sure: those that come up against him tend to end up regretting it.
Then again, so do the heroes he keeps contacting with tips.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku does in fact know the difference between right and wrong, no matter what anyone else tries to tell you. Does he steal from time to time? Yes. Being fourteen and homeless is a difficult feat and he'll take all the help he can get. Lying? He's been there, done that. It's a necessity if he wants to keep up his current lifestyle.
Life was going smoothly, all things considered. Right up until the point where he gets busted for stealing classified information and lies about being a psychic to cover his ass. Now he's somehow been marked as a wanted vigilante, which surprisingly isn't an unwelcome change in his daily routine. All he has to do to stop it from crashing down around him is keep this ever growing lie from unraveling.
If only he could keep his story straight.
