Summary
...the mic screeched for a second before their name and the introduction of the band hit him like a wall of pure sound waves. Then a second of dead silence before Ivan was ripped from any peace he might have possibly retained in his barely 19 years of life.
In a moment everything he thought he knew about human expression from acting for survival was brought before the judges bench and deemed a poor imitation. The performance was loud, bright, and viscerally human.
The lead vocalist played 2nd guitar as he belted raw emotions like an accusation toward the audience for not being truly honest with themselves. Faced with this absolute being Ivan wondered how any of his experienced acts could compare to this 3 hour set under incandescent lights in the corner of an alleyway bar. And Ivan knew they never could...
...But rather than falling into despair at this realization, Ivan experienced euphoria watching the very incarnation of Apollo finish the first half of the set...

Or a burnt-out idol trainee Ivan experiences human emotions and awakens a deep infatuation for the lead singer, Till, of a fledgling rock band.

Crossing his arms behind his head, Seth cracked a grin. "Just thinking about your freakishly abnormal balls."
"What's wrong with my balls?" Horus asked, the pout so evident in his voice Seth didn't even have to open his eyes to see the face he was making.
Seth clicked his tongue. "They're too damn full is what they are," he huffed. "Don't act all innocent, you always fill me up so much it's like you're trying to knock me up."
Horus' hand stilled on Seth’s stomach, his breath hitching audibly in the ensuing silence.
