pulling this from the comment I left to remind me why I like this fic so much:
"I just really really loved how you wrote the porn? Not even from a horny perspective (although also that) but just in the sense of how human you made it feel. So often with smut it'll end up feeling very scripted and kinda plastic - which is fine, I enjoy it - but this felt very much like these are two people who love each other and are playing a well established game together. Like this is something that just happens in their every day lives, and it fits into the continuity of it. There's no suspension of disbelief, there's no sudden tone shift into Porn Mode, it's just. Two people who know each other's bodies and have built a life together where they leave space for these moments with each other.
And it's so nice to see, like... idk how to articulate it well. Like to see Kim hurting and upset and asking for care, but the care he's asking for is for Harry to trust him for a while. Usually I see fic where someone has a bad day like that and they want to sub about it, but it's so rare that I get to see a dom portrayed practicing that same kind of self care through kink.
