Summary
Dr Park Seonghwa has gone missing, and with that his less than friendly creations have gone free. To save the city from falling to shambles Jongho gets teamed up with criminal on death row Kang Yeosang—better known under his alias Wild Card.
Yeosang proves to live up to his reputation, with his head mostly up in the clouds and his hands in other people’s guts, all while being capable to throw some less than professional remarks in Jongho’s direction. However, there is more to him than he lets on and more hidden behind his flirtations and out of pocket remarks. The organization, too, proves to be hiding beneath masks and false hope.
Jongho doesn’t know how the hell he’s supposed to save the city with his rag tag hero team of a convict and an injured soldier—and then some more. Then again, he doesn’t quite know how to save his heart either.

after a short-lived hiatus, model park seonghwa returns back to the runway. it’s not like the industry has ever left him. not really.

Wooyoung would like to think his life started the moment he got sold. He has built something for himself in the capital, living in pretense as spring closes in and his fate laughs down upon him, but there is strange energy in the air, and whispers of the what was once an all-powerful source running out of time, and it seems that everyone around Wooyoung have a hand in the matter.
In a society where the bastards at the top take and take, Wooyoung has more secrets than his body can contain. But so does San, and everyone else around him, for that matter. He doesn’t really care though; as long as the right people bleed.

Hongjoong’s eyes light up at the sudden information. He hadn’t taken Seonghwa for an adventurer, but he could very well be. He perks up. “Would you go back?”
Seonghwa’s lips spread into half a smile. “I’d return over and over again, each lifetime and the next.”

3. Do not—under any circumstances!—touch Seonghwa’s wine collection (triple exclamation marks)

“Isn’t university the time to have fun and be unserious?” Jongho asks back. Just because he’s never had a real relationship doesn’t mean he’s incapable of having one.
Wooyoung and San give him matching unimpressed stares. “And it’s not because you’re emotionally unavailable?”
“How do you know I’m not dating someone right now?” Jongho can feel his pulse in his temple. “I’m a private person!”
“Yeah, but if you were dating someone then why are you still fucking around with Yeosang?” Wooyoung throws in.
Dammit. This is it. This is the moment where a wire fries in Jongho’s brain. He can feel it as it’s happening, the electric sizzle of his synapses melting, even as the words are queuing up and leaving his mouth. “Because it’s Yeosang I’m dating.”
