Summary
A Titan, it was called, though the word zombie was whispered between technicians in quiet corners over the years. Those who witnessed the Founder’s birth would go to their graves with the image of Ymir’s small body twisting and convulsing held high in their minds. They would reminisce on the children she bore, three rosy-cheeked girls whose genes spelled out annihilation. When the bombs fell, and the ground grew cracked and blistered, they would welcome incineration with a smile, knowing the Eldians would have their revenge.
Vengeance was pure radiation pumping through a dying girl’s veins. Vengeance was centuries of waiting, of hiding, of biding time as Ymir’s blessing spread out across her subjects. Vengeance was freedom, and freedom enclosed itself in concrete and steel.

Summary
France, 1986 - The last time Erwin was in Paris, he had it all. Youth, love, success, and his place in some of the most prestigious orchestras of the world. His cello had been his faithful companion through it all, and many said Erwin was the most talented cellist of his time. With such a bright future, it was easy to pretend everything was perfect.
But a lot had changed in ten years.
Now, all he had left were ghosts in his shadows, blurred memories of what used to be, and a body broken beyond repair.
He hoped going back to where it all started would be enough to recover what he’d lost: his ability to hold a cello, to feel, to love. He’d been wrong so far. But there may be another soul just as broken as his, someone who was also wandering in search of their own missing pieces.

Levi looks up from the letters, unimpressed. “I think this is shit.”
“That’s a rather harsh assessment,” Erwin says, annoyed by the defensiveness he can hear in his voice. “Perhaps you’d care to expand on your criticism?”
“I want to drown in the perfume of your hair…the touch of your hand makes my blood sing…” Levi reads aloud, his tone flat and damning in its apathy. He tosses the papers down onto the table. “You said you wanted to manufacture a huge public scandal. You used the word titillating. No one’s getting wet reading that shit, Erwin. I’ve read supply request forms that were more morally offensive. If you use this garbage, your little farce is dead on arrival.”
“You write it, then,” Erwin challenges. “If you think you can do it better.”
Levi crosses his arms over his chest, eyes narrowing. “I think I could do alright.”
OR:
