“Slowly,” Joonghyuk says, like he’s agreeing to something.
“And don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what.”
“Like you’ve already decided you’re not going to do half.”
Dokja's first time with Joonghyuk involves a formal negotiation, several amended offers, and the gradual humiliating discovery that his body has opinions that are completely at odds with everything his mouth is saying.
He had concerns going in. The concerns were valid. They did not help.

This was a curse. That was obvious enough, but…
The only curses that could induce ruts were lust curses delivered from demons themselves. Given that he’d gone to the wastelands, it was almost guaranteed that he’d run into such demons. And such curses would take a millennium to dissipate on their own, if fed with enough of the host’s mana. But… Many of the afflicted did not have such a luxury.
If not taken care of, a lust curse could easily kill the host. That is, unless they cured it naturally—through sexual intercourse.
“Your Majesty…” Kim Dokja says, swallowing. “What subject… No, what aide would I be if I let you die?”
As a loyal subject to the king, Kim Dokja helps His Majesty in any way he can. That includes having sex with him to rid him of a curse.

Yoo Joonghyuk turns his head and meets his gaze, blinking his eyes slow. It shifts into a dark gaze, one that Kim Dokja knows all too well.
A lazy smile graces Kim Dokja’s face. It’s good that his lover catches on quick. He always does—capable of knowing when Kim Dokja is in one of those moods, when he’s nearing, or in his heat.
“Now?” Yoo Joonghyuk says, faux disapproving. His voice comes out strained—barely containing his own desire. Kim Dokja smells the arousal radiating off of him in waves.
“Please?” Kim Dokja whines. He tugs at the sleeve a little harder, tilting his head.
Kim Dokja is only honest when his heat nears. Yoo Joonghyuk is happy to indulge.
