Summary
I'ni is a good-hearted man, blessed by the Holy Mother with extraordinary compassion for all. It makes him a good fit to lead the Princess' personal guard.
Unfortunately, I'ni is not blessed with the ability to see into the future and stop murders from happening, and a man was poisoned today.
Nahyuta sighs and opens the file, mentally filling in the blanks like this is all a silly word game. The Deputy Undersecretary for...Agriculture...died from...poisoning...because of...the Defiant Dragons. A shocking conclusion.

Minister Inga ruffles Her Benevolence's hair and presses a kiss to her temple before she leaves. Nahyuta thanks the Holy Mother that she saw fit to give Her Benevolence another parent that cares at least this much.When the door shuts, though, Minister Inga turns back to him with a hard glare. There is no love for Nahyuta in his face. "Tell me, boy, will your Dragons lie and say this wasn't one of theirs?"

Summary
Normally, Simon would mind his business and not get involved, but an overstimulated Sad Monk is a snappy Sad Monk, and he's the only person in the office that has any sort of exposure to that. If it were just the apartment, he wouldn't care—Sahdmadhi keeps to his room by choice. But it's work, where avoiding people is not an option, and simply put, the risk of a duel between the Sad Monk and von Karma is not one he wants to factor into his day.

"You would put your own father to death?" Miles Edgeworth asks, expression aghast behind his glasses. Nahyuta wants to say he wouldn't, that he's sorry, that he doesn't want to, and please, Chief Prosecutor, don't you understand this feeling? Don't you all have Trucy Wright to consider? Don't you know this?

Phoenix shows absolutely no signs of leaving anytime soon. He takes off his shoes in the entryway, and Apollo tries not to scream - don’t get him wrong, he doesn’t wear shoes in the house either, but he doesn’t want Phoenix in his house. On the other hand, his boss seems both perfectly happy to stay and adamant that he's going to do so.
"You’re hiding something about Thalassa," Phoenix says. "And that concerns me because of Trucy - but also, because I’m worried about you. You won’t have much luck getting me to leave until you talk to me, kid.”
Apollo scoffs. “For a lawyer, you don’t seem to have much of a concept of trespassing.”

It wasn’t a work day for the Gavin Law Offices, after all, which was what made this particular celebration all the more nerve-wracking for him. It was a celebration for him. This morning, he had successfully taken the bar exam; he was finally a lawyer.
And Mister Gavin must have been thinking of the very same thing, because he smiled as his eyes once again rose to the table, catching the shiny gold thing newly pinned to Apollo’s red lapel. “How are you feeling, Justice?"
On the night that Apollo passes the bar exam and officially becomes a lawyer, his mentor treats him to a dinner, where they discuss the past.

Trucy sits carefully on the edge of the old couch, her suitcase at her feet. The cushions on the couch are flat but still pull her down, threatening to swallow her whole. There’s something about this office that makes her feel like she’s stuck out of time. Like she could be trapped here forever.
“Do you want a drink?” Phoenix Wright calls from the kitchen. They haven’t had time for anything but paperwork, and Trucy already went through the kitchen when Phoenix wasn’t paying attention. They have water, two cheap beers, and half a carton of milk that should probably get thrown away.
“I’m okay!” Trucy chirps. The couch tugs her in a little deeper.
