"We're-" Gerard cleared his throat as his voice cracked, cheeks flushed. "We're not a couple, Toby." He said.
Toby blinked once. Then twice, his eyes looking back and forth at Teddy and Gerard Jin and how they both refused to meet his stare. And then, very slowly, he asked, "You're... lying to me right now, aren't you?"
"Why," Teddy's voice sounded strangled, "would we lie to you, Toby?"
A brief silence passed by the three coworkers as the revelation lay itself on Toby. His eyes grew wide. "You're not dating?!" He exclaimed.
"No!" Teddy and Gerard yelled back.

Summary
The red light finally dies down as the natural lights flick back on, finally allowing the adults and teen to see what had ended up in their lab.
A group of children (five to be exact) sit where the table and device used to be, just as disoriented and confused as the Avengers staring at them. They look no older than Peter, one even very clearly younger, especially with the way his small hands rub his bottom as he pouts. They stand, not yet noticing the other presences in the room.
It was the one in the center, a teenage boy with ginger hair and blue eyes that had completely recovered first, getting himself on his feet before scanning the room. His crystal blue meets Steve’s and almost immediately, he freezes.
His entire body goes rigid and his shoulders tense. His eyes go wide and his mouth falls open in disbelief.
“Dad?”

Alternatively: I love the Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow movie and the kids so I decided to thrust them into the MCU. Thor Ragnarok, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame compliant, but things happen a bit differently. -

"... Jiminie?" The former asks, quietly, hesitantly, when Jimin suddenly appears before them. They can see his face but it's still overshadowed by the hood. His lips are curled in a calm, almost charming smile and his eyes are closed gently. The two watch, hearts pounding as Jimin reaches up, pulling the hood down.
His eyes open.
"Hello, Tae. Hello, Jeonggukie." Jimin greets with a smile that's far too wide. His eyes are bright, shining, and colored entirely green.
Taehyung's eyes widen in horror. Jeongguk's heart sinks.

Summary
(In which the NSA forces Simon to marry Jack in order to keep an eye on him.)
After the supers ban was made official, the NSA had their work cut out for them, engineering new, normal lives for those once believed to be gods. Day after day, supers were reduced to a single file, liabilities to be “dealt with.”
The nightmare was almost over, with only one man left to deal with—Jackson Hart, better known as Gamma Jack.
No female supers fit the mold well enough to be assigned to play house with Jack, and even if they could withstand his toxic abilities (and personality), it would just be plain cruel to subject any woman to a life married to the guy.
Fortunately, there was one person who fit the profile the NSA was looking for: immune to the light spectrum, and by proxy, Jack. Strong enough to hold their own. The one person who wasn’t afraid of him. Unfortunately for Jack, that person happened to be a man.

Summary
Gazerbeam narrowly escapes death at the hands of the Omnidroid, but gets gravely wounded. Still, he manages to survive in the cave on his own until help arrives.
He just didn't expect it to be in the form of Gamma Jack, who has gone undercover in Syndrome's mercenary ranks to avoid a similar fate to the other supers brought to the island.
Both heroes manage to escape Syndrome’s genocide, and finally get around to admitting a few things to each other!
Things seem like it’ll be a happy ending. Until the Deavors show up with a proposal to make superheroes legal again.
a.k.a. Right when Simon and Jack were starting to actually have a relationship, Gazerbeam is asked to be the Deavors’ superhero representative.
