“Aren’t you a surprise,” Lucifer says, Sam looking Dean over, looking for wounds, for damage, for anything that shows when this Dean is from.
Get closer, Sam demands, even though, if he wants, he has just as much control over this body as Lucifer. Lucifer knows what he means though, and in the next flash of lightning, Lucifer quickly flies so they’re behind Dean, careful to be far enough that he doesn’t think Dean would startle too badly. They don’t want to scare him. This Dean isn’t threatening them, or yelling at them. He’s just here. When was the last time they had a brother who didn’t want to hurt them?
