'Robin runs her hand over Jane’s spine, making small shapes and patterns. She cups the back of Jane’s head gently. “I love you so much, Little Jane.”
Jane’s body trembles with her cries. “I love you, too, Robin Hood,” she says, her voice shaking, but never breaking. “Thank you for being my big sister. Thank you for being my birdie.”
Robin tightens her grip on Jane, closing her eyes tightly. “Thank you for being your absolute self. You’re my favorite person,” she says quietly.

Summary
KATELYN MIK WAS TAKEN AWAY from her biological family when she was one year old by a band of witches who stole the children of werewolves. The witches wanted a pack to protect them from the people who were going to try and kill them. They would send some of these children that they deem worthy to other foster homes to try and find other werewolves that wanted a pack.
But when Katelyn gets sent to a foster home in Atlanta, Georgia, and befriends Landon Kirby and Rafael Waithe, things start to go downhill. When Rafael accidentally kills his girlfriend on a rainy night, he starts acting out leading to the ceremony at All Saint's Church where they meet the one and only, Hope Andrea Mikaelson.
From there on, Katelyn finds herself interested in a certain blonde siphoner...

Val’s Cheshire grin showed off her brilliantly white teeth. “Yes,” she said simply as if this was a well-known fact. “You have committed murder, arson, attempted murder, espionage, you have destroyed sensitive documents, overthrown governments, should I go on? The only reason the authorities have never come after you is because I have held them at bay.”
Yelena smoothed out her features, her face became a blank mask so no one in the room could pick up on the nerves that began to wriggle in her belly. If they ever came for her, what would that mean for Kate? “What are you saying?" she asked in an even voice.
“It’s really simple,” beamed Valentina. “You do this one itty bitty mission for me, and the United States government will wipe your record clean.”
