This budding romance is a slow burn due to Ashtons fear of abandonment. If they finally get together you know complication is soon to follow. This fanfiction very loosely follows cannon and picks up in season 4. This fanfiction follows both Ashton and Lips POV. Hope you enjoy!

Even as a kid, family was never something Phoebe Lim had. Her father was a video game developer and was always away on business trips. Her mother, though she did work occasionally, was never in her right mind to keep Phoebe company. Instead she usually swam around in her wine glass, high as a kite, and yelling at the characters of General Hospital on television. Because of this, Phoebe was as silent as could be in school.
But one fateful afternoon graced her enough to give her a knight in shining armor. It was recess and Caleb Finnigan was making fun of her for not wearing a training bra. Before she knew it, he was crying with blood pouring out of his nose and Phillip Gallagher was standing beside her, waving his hand as he gasped at the newfound pain. And that day forward, the two remained friends. They were inseparable. ever see them apart.
With their high school chapter coming to a close soon, Lip and Phoebe decide to start up a little game, a game where they compete to see who can sleep with the most people before graduation. Of course, neither of them will admit that the only reason they're going through with the stupid game is because they're scared of admitting their feelings for the other.

THIS BOOK IS IN A REWRITTING PROCESS
Jake's grip on Niki strengthened as he held the younger boy close, trying to soothe him as best as he could. Jake was getting concerned, Niki's anxiety was growing with each passing moment.
Niki continued to watch the figure, terrified by the beauty of the figure before him. The figure had pale skin, a long nose and full lips, the combination of the two creating a beautiful contrast of colors. Niki could see the beauty spots scattered across the face, as though they added a touch of uniqueness to the figure's appearance.
The figure was getting even closer to Niki's bed now, Niki could even make out the details of the figure's hair as he stared at it. The strands of hair were long and dark, as though they were a perfect match for the figures icy blue eyes.
"Hello I'm sunghoon" he said.
