“We’ve found the Yondaime and his wife! They were still alive!
Something inexplicable happened that night. A last ditch effort, unconscious as it was; a small nudge of fate; a miracle. Whatever it was, it didn’t matter.
Not as much as that single, mind-blowing fact: three months after the Kyûbi’s rampage on Konoha, the Yondaime and his wife, thought to be dead after disappearing without a trace from the clearing they’d last been seen in, reappeared in the middle of the street without warning.
This was a chance no one had ever fathomed they could get. It was a single chance to make things right.
Now, what they do with it is up to them.

Summary

In the present, Sakura wakes up without her memories, having clearly been the victim of a vicious attack. Along with Sasuke, she begins investigating the circumstances that led to her current state.
In the past, Sakura stumbles upon a decade-long conspiracy involving a stolen Sharingan and a rogue councilor with a vendetta against the village. Realizing that she will lose her memories, she starts writing letters to her future self, arming her with the information she needs to survive.
But as Sakura, past and present, inches closer to discovering who wants her dead, she's also getting perilously close to the Uchiha's most dangerous secret, one they've been trying to bury for close to a decade...

Summary
Samantha Stewart is not the Simurgh. This is obvious.
It is also obvious that she is not one of the world's most powerful telekinetics, precogs, postcogs, Masters, and Tinkers. Sam is just an ordinary human with an ordinary job trying to live an ordinary life where she may or may not be mentally coerced into transforming into a fifteen-foot-tall angel and decimating a major population center every now and then.
It is fairly obvious that she needs therapy, though. Losing her job doesn't help, and neither does getting caught in the middle of a violent cape battle. But maybe, just maybe, this means that Sam finally has the opportunity to do some good for a change.Soar is heavily inspired by Learning to Sing and lightly inspired by Case.
Full-Work Content Warning for major depression and self-hatred. Things will get better, but hoo boy do they start off bad.
