Summary
Jax/Felix isn’t one to take things seriously, everybody knows that. As a result, he can’t bring himself to care when Abel brings up the possibility of escaping the circus. He’s seen a few movies, of course he knows how to spot a twist villain.
However, his own perception is absolutely shattered when he finds himself back in the Real World, with no evidence to prove that the circus even existed.
Within the span of a few months, Felix is forced to deal with his car crash-related injuries, the reality that only a few seconds had passed while he was in the circus, and worst of all, his lingering crush on a jester he’s 99% sure wasn’t even real.
He’s broke, lost, and completly hopeless—until a chance encounter in a grocery store aisle forces him to face the person he’d never thought he’d see again.
AKA a really long one shot where they actually escaped in ep 7 and Pomni and Jax reunite in the most romantic place possible: the grocery store :)
