Summary
Phainon and Mydei are equals in many things. Their height, their strength, their skill — but in this, Phainon has never been able to best Mydei; how, like this, he makes Phainon feel so small, like he might be crushed beneath Mydei’s touch, even just from the slightest brush of his fingertips. Mydei’s gaze lingers across his body, and this close, Phainon can see the hunger in his eyes. It takes all the strength he can muster to stop his breath from catching.
“You look fine,” Mydei rasps, trying to keep his voice even, but Phainon can hear it… the desire behind that velvety, silk-like voice that sends a pleasant ache straight to Phainon’s navel, his cunt clenching around nothing, telling him Mydei thinks he looks more than just fine. “The only one who has a problem with how you look is you.”
After a mixup happens with a rental company, Phainon has to wear a maid dress for maid day at Trailblazer Café. Mydei is there to reassure him.

“Who is it?” he asks.
Mydei gives him a blank look. “And why should I tell you?”
“Because you’re ill, and it’s due to your feelings for this person,” Phainon says. “I’d like a name so I can talk to them.”
Mydeimos is ill with the flower-vomiting disease. Phainon wouldn't be Phainon if he didn't involve himself in Mydei's business, of course.

She watches him silently, lips forming a teasing smile. ‘This shooting star will be the first one in centuries to reach the skies of Aedes Elysiae.’
‘Yeah?’
‘Mhm. Don’t you think the star gets tired carrying so many wishes at once in one fleeting moment like this?’ Cyrene asks, tilting her head to follow the remnants of sparks the star leaves behind in the sky.
He thinks about it. He really tries to, but he just wants to make a wish. For him and for her.
Or, Phainon thinks about his title as "Deliverer" on the long way back home.
