Summary
Three weeks after Foggy wrote "Nelson, Murdock, and Page" on a new napkin, Matt, Karen, and Foggy are starting the new firm in the upstairs of Nelson's Meats. That means Matt can't put off moving back into his apartment any longer—an apartment that he may or may not have told Karen and Foggy he moved back into weeks ago.
It turns out, trying to sort out your affairs and come back to your old life after having a building fall on top of you, spending months recovering in a church basement, and being homeless isn't that easy. It's a little harder still when you're mentally unwell, sleep deprived, and blind.
Also... maybe Matt should have taken the whole hallucination thing more seriously.

Summary
Sam glanced over the mottled bruises and thick scars wrapping around his torso, accompanied by a hollow stomach and protruding ribs. Dried blood coated his side, spilled from a large gash in his abdomen. Tremors ran up his spine, making him fight so hard to sit still under Sam’s hands. His tearful eyes refused to make contact, like he was afraid of what would follow if he did.
Like this, he didn’t seem so scary. Just… fragile, like tempered glass beneath the threat of a nail.
Or: Sam stumbles across an injured and fearful man in the middle of the night, one month after Triskelion. After bringing him back to his apartment to treat his wounds, he realizes just who — what — he's brought into his home.

It isn’t the most comforting response, as far as responses go.
"Thanks," Steve says again. He's helpless to keep his voice from sounding arch, so he doesn't try. "I appreciate it, Buck."
Bucky’s eye twitches, just like before. His grip on the sidearm tightens slightly, but he doesn’t bring it back up to point at Steve.
Steve doesn’t have the good sense God gave a goose; he’s always known that, so he keeps talking.
Steve had expected to go looking for Bucky, but Bucky finds him first.

"I see."
It was one of those days. The anniversary of some loss that messed you up when it came around again, no matter how long ago whatever happened had happened or how well your life was going in the present. Everyone who served had at least one. The day Riley died had been Sam’s first. In some ways, it was still the most painful.
"It's also the Winter Soldier's birthday." Bucky held up his empty glass in mock salute.

“What do you mean?” Sam demands, tone hushed so as not to attract attention (Bucky’s suddenly glad Sarah sent the kids off already) but just as adamant as always. “You didn’t eat food for seventy years? Even for a super soldier, that’s—that’d kill you.”
Bucky blinks. Mentally goes back through the course of their conversation, reeling just a little. “Uh,” he says, ever-eloquent. Looks to Sarah for help, and finds she’s leaned in, elbows on the table, equally interested in his answer. “Not—I didn’t eat food, per se.”
He thinks of the tubes, the drips, the liquids. The—the rats, in the early days. Decides he probably shouldn’t go on, but Sam hasn’t dropped the subject and doesn’t look like he’s going to. There’s this strange, stormy look on his face, one Bucky’s only seen once, in that room with Selby and Zemo.//
