Summary
I wrote this last September for an English assignment so that's why it's so short. It wasn't a writing assignment, but an editing process assignment; I just needed a small piece to show how I edit.

By noon, the video clips had already made the rounds across multiple precincts. Someone had even cut them into a compilation, titled “Chemistry: ADA Barba & Detective Carisi?”, overlaid with slow piano music and uploaded to a Reddit thread. It had comments. Upvotes.
“This has to be a joke,” Carisi muttered under his breath as he stared at the thread on his phone.
Barba was at his side, glancing over his shoulder. “Clearly, someone’s sense of humor is deeply lacking.”
“It’s not even anything,” Carisi added. “It’s not like we were, I mean, it’s a laugh. A pat on the arm. That’s it.”
Barba raised an eyebrow. “Then why are you explaining it to me?”
Carisi shut his mouth.
