Summary
When Connor’s voice calls out, “The gentleman seems to not have heard me,” Hank startles to see him staring directly at him. A coy smile rests on Connor’s face, but Hank knows he recognizes him, “Would the gentleman be so kind as to come on stage to assist me with my next act?”
Hank feels frozen under the gaze of an entire theater. A gentle nudge presses at his back, but when he twists around to see who’s prodding him, no one is there. Once on his feet, his legs feel as if they’re moving without his permission.
Once he’s planted firmly center stage, Connor leans in as if in introduction. He cups his fingers over his mic with one hand before slotting the other into Hank’s. His voice comes out quiet and velvet soft, “A pleasure to see you again, Lieutenant.”

Hank doesn't believe in magic, but Connor's testing his resolve.

With one final heave, they managed to force the doors open just wide enough to see the wall beyond them. Behind the doors was solid concrete. No exit. No maintenance access. Nothing.
Norman groaned and let go, the doors snapping shut instantly.Connor straightened, smoothing his shirt absently. He exhaled through his nose, then glanced up at the ceiling again. “Plan C, then.”
Norman let his head fall back against the elevator wall, staring at the dim overhead light. “Which is?”
“Wait for rescue.”

Up close, Jayden was even more captivating than from a distance: 6’2 male, fair skin and light brown hair. He had this tired look about him, his eyes slightly bloodshot and heavy. And he had a little scar on his cheek. He was just… really pretty.
Connor found himself as stiff as a mannequin, momentarily stunned until he noticed Jayden extending a hand. “Agent Norman Jayden, FBI.”
Connor shook it firmly. “Connor. Android detective.”
Jayden smiled lazily. “I know.”

How does someone programmed to serve learn to ask for what he wants? Connor is struggling, but thankfully Hank has become his semi-willing human tutor in the weeks following the revolution. Maybe tonight Connor can figure out how to tell Hank he wants more.
