It’s happened enough times by now that it feels like a running joke. Seonghwa throws out a complaint about never being praised properly. Hongjoong meets it with an easy grin and just enough teasing in his tone to keep it from tipping into anything serious. The members laugh, the staff laughs too, and the moment passes like it always does.
And afterward, Seonghwa leaves everything exactly as it is. He straightens his posture, gathers whatever dignity remains, and pretends—very convincingly, he thinks—that he has absolutely no deeper emotional investment in the situation whatsoever.
Seonghwa tells himself he is above fishing for compliments. This belief lasts right up until Hongjoong is the one withholding them.

Summary
“You’re in so much fucking trouble, bunny,” Hongjoong says as he pulls the car out of the driveway, easing onto the road. He flicks a quick glance over to his boyfriend. “Do you have anything to say?”
Seonghwa exhales shakily. “It was an accident,” he rushes out. “Honest, Joongie. I wasn’t– I wasn’t thinking.”
Hongjoong’s eyes are on the road, but he can see the way Seonghwa squirms in his seat. He waits, just a few seconds, before saying, “then why were you smirking, baby?” The car is quiet save for the faint hum of the engine and the blinker Hongjoong flicks on to merge onto the highway. “Hm? I thought you said it was an accident.”

Seonghwa asks daddy to pass the kimchi at dinner. Both his father and Hongjoong reach for it.

“Who the fuck are you?!”
“I’m Seonghwa,” the man said, deadpan, blinking slowly at him.
“What the hell are you doing in my bed? What the fuck are you doing in my house?” Hongjoong stammered, heart hammering.
The man — Seonghwa — looked at his own body and his eyes widened. “Oh, I’m human. That explains it,” he murmured under his breath. “You bought me,” Seonghwa replied casually.
Hongjoong froze, blinking. “I… what?”
Then his gaze dropped, and he noticed them — delicate, soft ears peeking out from Seonghwa’s hair. He had the same honey-like skin as the rabbit’s fur. And when he looked into Seonghwa’s eyes, he knew it wasn’t the first time.
The realization hit him like a train. His jaw dropped, eyes wide, and he whispered in horror:
“You’re a… hybrid.”
Seonghwa smirked faintly, tilting his head. “Yes. I am your bunny.”
…or the one where Hongjoong’s bunny is actually a hot guy!
