Summary
They were friends.
And yeah, maybe the ring on his finger sort of burned when he looked at her sometimes, even though it was just for show, now.
It was just easier to let her keep thinking he was still married to Abby. Safer.
It raised less eyebrows about the nature of their friendship when the ring stayed on while he was at work, the weight on his finger reminding him not to say or do anything stupid.
It also made it a little less creepy when the pet names started slipping out.

Summary
And then Santos says — because of course she does, of course they would, of course it’s her fault — “And Langdon would be awful in bed, of course.” Mel blinks.
She somehow hadn’t expected them to get to Langdon, although she acknowledges it’s quite ridiculous of her to not have seen it coming considering the list of male coworkers they were rapidly striking. It’s just — well, Langdon isn’t exactly just a coworker to her, but also a friend. Someone she sends medical memes to and facetimes and watches bad movies on her couch to decompress, someone who pays for her coffee when she’s not looking and talks her down from the egde of a spiral and has met Becca. He’s — He’s Frank to her, and it’s weird to— talk about him that way. Extremely inappropriate, beyond what HR demands.
Still, Mel thinks she should defend his honor, and notes, “I think you might be letting your biases influence your judgment.”
or mel can't stop thinking about how frank's like in bed, and decides she should really just ask him

Summary
A soft laugh left her lips. “I fear you are lending a great deal of philosophy to a simple ribbon, sir.”
Her jest drew a smile from him, though his gaze remained on the silk in his hand, as if appraising its properties, as if contemplating its fragility against its strength. A moment passed, and then he lifted his gaze to find hers in the mirror, his eyes now holding a speculative light.
“That is a very particular look you have in your eye, Mr. Darcy,” she said, as she turned to face him. “One that rarely precedes a quiet evening.”

Summary
Lizzy, having accepted Darcy's proposal at Hunsford, is outraged when Mr. Collins directs her to accept any attentions Darcy desires to direct to her. Darcy, being a perfect gentleman, has no choice but to let her do as she likes with him.
(This is a variation of a variation - the premise is pretty basic for P&P fic fans, but I wrote it inspired by my novel, "A Teasing Courtship.")

Summary
This one-shot was written to have a little bit more insight to Claire's mind leading up to the windowsill scene in 5x11. As much as I was satisfied with what the show gave us, this is my take on how that scene could've turned out if a little bit more was shown onscreen.
