Summary
The man- now unmistakably Eddie Munson- opened his mouth as if to say something, choosing to instead launch himself at Steve. There was a second where Steve thought he was being attacked, knocked off kilter, but then Eddie’s arms were around him, burying his face in Steve’s hair. Half-collapsing beneath the weight, Steve guided them both to the floor, pulling Eddie closer instinctively. He felt thinner than he used to, the skin of his back littered with scars.
“Eddie,” Steve murmured disbelievingly, holding him as he shook like a leaf in Steve’s arms. “You’re not dead.”
Eddie laughed, despite the trembling. He clutched onto Steve’s shirt like a lifeline.
“Yeah,” he managed, voice high and vulnerable. “Sorry to disappoint.”
WARNING: This will contain season five spoilers, though it diverts from canon.

“Steve took a shaky breath, “It’s official,” he chuckled softly to himself, “I’m having a pup with a dead man.”

Summary
Steve Rogers is a seasoned activist and not at all afraid to get arrested while protesting the building of a pipeline. HOWEVER he is TERRIFIED when he realizes he’ll be chained to the same backhoe as Bucky “very handsome southern boy who also plays guitar and struts like a panther in his very tight, worn thin blue jeans” Barnes.
Our brave, tiny Steve will find out once and for all: Can you catch on fire from blushing over your crush?
May Contain: Extended descriptions of how to get arrested while chained to a backhoe, copious amounts of sisters, Appalachian accents, cheerful silliness interspersed with tragic background realness. Pining with a happy ending. Chicken related controversy.
Tragic background realness mainly consists of parents passing away, because who doesn’t love adult orphans. Discussion of funerals. Very brief homophobic interaction in chapter 18 (marked in the chapter intro notes). There is no violence, but there are a few moments where you might think there might be violence. Overall this is a romance not a gritty, hard hitting documentary.
If I missed any potential triggers I always appreciate being told as I know what it's like to have my day/etc ruined by something in a fic.

Summary
Steve Harrington gets tired of everyone asking why he's still single.
So he does what any reasonable person would do.
He lies.
His boyfriend's name is Eddie. He lives in Ohio. He has long curly hair, brown eyes, wears leather jackets, plays guitar, drives a van, and works with his uncle. Completely made up. Entirely fictional.
Until a few weeks later, when a guy matching that exact description moves to Hawkins.
His name, of course, is Eddie.
And somehow, Steve's imaginary boyfriend is suddenly standing in front of him, very real, very confused... and strangely willing to play along.Bookmarked by aaartemis

Summary
"It wasn’t any use to get, what was basically Eddie’s family, to like him. He knew deep down that they wouldn't see that he changed, or at least tried to. Even some of the party still didn't realize that. It hurt, it really did, but he couldn’t force people to like him or realize how much he has tried to change. And if he were in their shoes he would have trouble realizing that too. Hell, sometimes he still acted all bitchy; which never really helped his self loathing."
...
Or Steve struggles with not feeling good enough in his relationship and his boyfriend's family hating him does not help
