Our beloved Heartstopper protagonists, Nick & Charlie, mostly true to the original characters, but their story with an AU first meeting. This is a happy, fluffy love story with some necessary angst for plot, but no trauma or deaths are expected, and a happy ending is guaranteed!A Sample:
"I know what an amazing person you are, Nick. Truly amazing. You’re so kind and generous, and you’re a wonderful friend, and I’ll be here for you whenever you need me. I don’t want to lose touch again, if that’s something you’d want, too.”They looked at each other for a moment until Nick smiled and replied, “Of course, Charlie. Of course, I want to stay in touch. We just found each other again and I don’t plan on letting your friendship go ever again! That’s it, you’re stuck with me.”
“Oh noooo, how terrible. How will I ever cope with having one of my favourite people in my life forever?” Charlie replied cheekily.

He watched as Nick and Charlie smiled at one another before bursting out in laughter at the ridiculousness of their greetings.All three of them started speaking at the exact same time and each stopped short at the mutual interruptions:

“Olly, who is–“
“Are you Char-“
The trio laughed together, but Olly said a silent prayer that he’d never be as lame as his otherwise lovely brother.
“Oh my god, you guys are so cringe! Charlie, this is Nick. Nick, this is my brother, Charlie.” Olly offered somewhat exasperatedly.
“You’re Charlie?” Nick stuttered.
“Um, yes? Are you Tori’s Nick?” Charlie responded.
“Excuse me, he’s my Nick, too.” Olly protested while Nick and Charlie laughed.
