Summary
This story takes place after the Frontier Day Massacre. We find out that Jean-Luc is actually married to Laris and was when he left her to go rescue Beverly. The story starts off with Jean-Luc going to that little bar on Chaltok IV to find Laris and a surprise shes been waiting to let him in on.
It also follows Jack during his time in recovery in the Psych Wing at Starfleet Medical as well as Beverly and her own unexpected news.
