Summary
Sonic knew that Shadow didn’t have the best reputation. The guy almost blew up the world and while it wasn’t technically his fault, his evil alien dad had attempted to conquer earth. Plus, driving a loud motorcycle while shooting at enemies in the streets wasn’t typical ‘hero’ behavior.
But. C’mon. It was hot.
Others didn’t see it that way though, and despite his best efforts, Sonic couldn’t ignore them forever. He could, however, briefly play the funniest prank imaginable on them, just to get them off his back.
“It’s actually really hurtful to hear people say such horrible things about the father of my baby.”
“What?” The reporter asked, almost dropping her mic as Tails stared at him, knowing he was full of shit.

Mobius has been Eggman's land since 40 years ago when he first arrived on the planet to conquer it, using his devastating big army and arsenal to take control of the Chaos Emeralds from the hands of the Echidna Tribe, eliminating them from existence.
Since the disappearance of the guardians' tribe, many have tried to stop Robotnik's incessant destruction and conquering, only to suffer the same fate as them.
It’s not until a blue hedgehog with incredible speed and power rises to rival the Doctor's machines that Mobians start to hope again for a better future with freedom and peace.
The Resistance is painting the streets blue, destroying machinery, claiming back what was taken from them with blood, sweat and tears. It’s a matter of time before they destroy the empire that Eggman had built in their home.
But the Doctor won’t let the crown be taken from him so easily. Not when he has now discovered the Ultimate Weapon that may end Sonic and the Resistance once and for all.
