The Red Huntress had done it: she'd captured Phantom and turned it over to Mr. Masters for disposal. Months later, she can't exactly claim she's on top of things; protecting Amity Park had certainly gotten harder, and she was still splitting her time between ghost hunting, her minimum wage job, and trying to solve the disappearance of her boyfriend Danny. She still tries to tell herself it was the right thing to do.
Then one day she finds a set of secret rooms off of Mr. Masters's lab, where Danny's been this whole time. Danny's in rough shape and in no position to get out by himself. Will Valerie put the pieces together? How does Danny feel about being rescued by the same person who turned him over to his abuser? What will Valerie do when she gets her hands on the man she trusted completely and who used her to do something so awful?

This is a rewrite of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. While I do really enjoy Rick Riordan's books, especially the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I wasn't thrilled with how everything went down in Heroes of Olympus. So this is my rewrite of the first book in the series "The Lost Hero". Expect this rewrite to include:
-Swearing (they're demigod teenagers what do you expect).
-First person chapters.
-Black Annabeth Chase.
-Annabeth is missing instead of Percy.And lots of other things that I will include in the tags when I finish.

An assassin and a detective go on a blind date set up by their mutual friend, a cop. It almost sounds like the beginning of a bad joke. Especially since the detective is extremely adamant on catching the mystery assassins who took her friend from her and the assassin is completely clueless on this.
