Summary
The Wastes are all Keith has ever known.

They felt far away and he wanted to tell them not to worry, his eyes sluggishly attempting to convey what his clenched jaw couldn’t, but before he could do much of anything, Lance’s view of the desolation Voltron had wrought, of the new Galra fleet, of his fellow Voltron lions, of the giant druid ship with its offensively shaped canon, all faded to darkest black.

Voltron is falling apart. Keith has left, Shiro’s acting weird, and Red is shunning Lance. Just when he thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. Lance gets zapped far away to an alternate reality where he struggles to find his footing. He needs to find his way back to the team, fast, and maybe he’ll find himself along the way. Despite his aversion to cliches, he just can't seem to steer clear of them.

Feeling overwhelm by his boldness in admitting he had saved her but didn’t know why caused some tears to form in Noriko’s eyes as she looked down at her lap, shielding her eyes from the other three in the room with her red bangs, almost in the verge of crying.

Labs in Central City underwent an experiment that caused the particle accelerator to explode. Creating some interesting after marks.
Slade and Oliver planned to get married, they even found an new apartment, both to live in a nicer area and so that Thea could stay, who still refuses to return home. So, Slade has a new job in the Starling S.W.A.T unit, a new apartment, visits his mother in law in prison and drinks with his new cop buddies, but the one thing he never expected, was for someone he believed deceased to show up, very much alive, and to pretty much demand he and Oliver look after a child... And that's not even the crazy part.

However, a fact that proved to be both worrisome yet intrigued the minds of many was how there were clear signs of life as there were three half-full cups of coffee and an acetylene blowtorch that'd been used to force open a steel box on deck.
Though the box was empty, it was believed to have sheltered something inside its two compartments. Whilst some believed there to be treasure inside, others and the majority of people forgot about it in a couple of months.

This Lance is faster, stronger, and markedly more mature. Not only that, but he's distinctly more intuitive about his teammates and A LOT more touchy with Keith.
The team must try and work out how to reverse the two Lance's places and restore them to their original timelines. Things only get more complicated when the Future Lance can't seem to remember where he was when the switch happened, and he refuses to reveal anything about his own time for fear of influencing the team's decisions.
