Golden eyes meet lavender, and Neuvillette can’t stop the growl of warning that rises from his chest, the sovereign dragon inside him raising his hackles at the sight of his enemy.
Wriothesley tenses and throws a confused look at Neuvillette. “Neuvi?”
Morax is the one who finally breaks the tension. Keeping his eyes locked with Neuvillette, he slightly inclines his head. “We finally meet, Sovereign of water.”
“Morax,” says Neuvillette coldly, his voice almost coming out as a snarl.
Tartaglia lets out a nervous chuckle as he laces his hands behind his head. “Oh that’s awkward.”

In the wake of recent storms, a new cult- organized religious group pops up in order to stop them. The problem being they are funded by an unknown individual and they believe in human sacrifice. In order to figure out the answer to the former question, Wriothesley joined the Order, and unfortunately catches they eye of the Sovereign they worship.
TLDR: Wriothesley gets offered to the Hydro Sovereign of water, Neuvillette.

To the way his footsteps soften when he walks beside him, like he is matching pace with the tide. To the way he never rushes Neuvillette into speaking. To the way he offers closeness, never insists on it.
Neuvillette is not used to wanting. He is used to witnessing it in others, mapping its routes, issuing verdicts on the damage it causes. But now it is in him. A landscape. An ecosystem. Wriothesley has become weather in his chest. Changing the pressure. Warming the currents. Drawing the rain in anticipation.
Or, Neuvillette carries an unfinished confession in his coat, while Wriothesley carries enough patience for them both.
