Jonah and his friend Adam went to school together, but Jonah thought Adam was upset with him. After school, Jonah had a terrible day. He was beaten up at school, and then when he went home, he got in trouble with his father. He was yelled at and punished for skipping school. Everything seemed to be going wrong for Jonah, and he was feeling down and depressed. He was even thinking of doing something drastic to end his pain.
