Summary
"I thought I told you to stop smoking." Dottore's voice was a sharp, cutting through the the room as he snatched the half lit cigarette from Pantalone's fingers, crushing it beneath his boot with unnecessary force.
Pantalone merely offered a languid chuckle, the sound smooth as silk and twice as dangerous. "What's the harm in indulging, just a little?"
Dottore's scowl deepened, something sharp and clinical flickering in his eyes. "You're not the one who has to perform corrective lung surgery twice a year, are you?"
With a resigned sigh that suggested theatrical martyrdom, Pantalone reached for his silver case. His fingers hovered over the velvet lining until he found it; the final cigarette, lying upside down. With careful, wanton motions, he extracted it and pressed it into Dottore's palm.
"Make a wish," Pantalone murmured, his gaze unreadable behind his spectacles.

Summary
The first thing Feofan saw upon opening his eyes was… black roses.
A thick bouquet of them, hovered right in front of his face. He dragged his gaze away from the flowers, upward to meet the red eyes that had been haunting his stay in Sumeru.
“You’ll be scheduled for surgeries in four days. For your extreme case, the success rate is laughably small—small enough that I’d ask The Tsaritsa to write me an eulogy right now if I were you.” Zandik smiled faintly. “Then, after the surgery fails, you will be in a state of coma for a day or two or, if you’re unlucky, three.”
“So, chairman…” The bouquet was gently put on Feofan’s lap, right next to the elixir. “Because I am too poor to book a flight to Snezhnaya and attend your funeral, let me pay my utmost respect to you right here, right now.”

Summary
In the quiet devastation following the 6.6 catastrophe—Irminsul burned, Dottore erased from the world— Pantalone, stands alone among the remnants of his husband's laboratory. He uncovers a hidden journal, penned in Zandik's true hand, that confesses a long-held love and a secret experiment: the creation of a child born of their combined flesh, a whispered wish Pantalone drunkenly voiced decades ago and then forgot. But the journal's final, sterile entry is a death certificate: "Subject Lohen deemed unviable. Disposal in the snow. No survivor." Pantalone buries the grief of a son he never knew and accepts a Fatui mission to Mondstadt as a distraction.

Summary
"Kyryll…" his name was like honey on Illuga's tongue, and he savored the way it sat in the core of his flame, "Promise me."
Flins' eyebrows raised, along with the corners of his mouth. "You know what those words mean to me, Illuga. I'm listening."
Illuga reached weakly up to grab Flins' arm and tug it out of his hair, holding his hand once more to his chest, above his heart. "Promise me that you'll meet me again in another life." His words were more resolute now, but he yet refused to meet Flins' gaze. "Souls in Teyvat… they can reincarnate… Right?" Flins nodded, following the man's train of thought, "So, then… Promise me that you'll wait for me. Because I know I'll find you…"
