"What are you talking about, Leo?" he asked, tilting his head. When he saw the other turtle opening his mouth while furrowing his brow, Mikey cut him off. He didn't want to deal with the next level of his serious, impatient older brother. "Oh! You mean the fight? I just stepped up my game, bro! You don't think I'm slacking off all the time, do you?"
"You never want to show up for training when I'm the one calling for it, and you love your bed as much as you love pizza," Leo countered before sharpening his gaze. His tone dropped an octave, lower than normal, as he continued: "So tell me, Michelangelo... what. was. that?"
or, in short: Mikey has been acting weird since they saved Earth from the Kraang. Especially around Leo.

Summary
Donnie's sick and forcibly benched to stay behind in the lair while the rest of his brothers go on a mission.
If that wasn't bad enough... Mikey, out of all brothers, were assigned to take care and watch over him! He couldn't hope to recover fast enough.
(Takes place in the middle of Season 3 / A little after they return home from the Farmhouse and move back into the sewers.)

It looked like Donnie’s retro-mutagen timeline had just gotten exponentially shorter. He would have to face Stockman in roughly 48 hours, which wasn’t ideal but that was fine. Donnie would handle it. He had worked under pressure before and made it out alive. He’d just have to seriously buckle down for the next two days, he could do that. Everything would be fine.
Or, Stockman threatens to release CCTV footage of the turtles if Donnie doesn’t comply with his demands.

“Not good. Somethings wrong.” He mumbled.

Donnie was the first one up and standing. He rubbed his eyes and began to take in his surroundings, paling when his eyes caught Raph and Leo.
“Oh my god…” He whispered, glancing at Mikey and then at his own body. “This cannot be happening.”
Or, when Leo, Raph, and Donnie are de-aged, Mikey has to step up as the de-facto leader and temporary eldest sibling.
