A black tendril curls around his leg and pulls. Vincent panics as he falls— only to have large clawed hands wrap swiftly around his waist, he's pulled back with effortless strength and spun back into Alastor's arms. Vincent is pressed into a broad chest, he can faintly feel vermilion claws graze his hips almost warningly.

In which, Vox takes the hit for Alastor during his battle with Adam and dies. Consumed by madness and the realization that he did care for Vox, Alastor follows him into death—only to awaken decades earlier, at the exact moment Vox first falls into Hell as a new sinner. Armed with the knowledge of everything that will come to pass, Alastor seizes the chance to take the newly fallen Vox under his wing… and change their future.

Now he is in his throne room, feeling things he thought he could move on from and Leon is done with his bullshit, but still finds himself, once more, falling for the man despite his hatred burning deep within because why the fuck would you pull his soul from the afterlife and bring him back?
No idea if I'll write a companion to this, but the idea of Trevor seeing Leon with bite marks and looking completely smitten with Dracula, but maybe sensing the will to break free, but can't because Chaos, the castle, binds his soul to this body and idk maybe I will write how Trevor is disgusted and terrified and all the same understanding something perhaps a bit deeper went on with this messed up bullshit of seeing his ancestor, the patriarch of the Belmont clan, a slave to Dracula's will.

Summary
Link is a failure.
It’s something he’s always known, he thinks, deep down within himself. A heavy feeling it is: failure. It seeps in through his nose, clogging his throat and making it impossible to breathe, swirling around his temples and bringing a constant ache, settling into his stomach with a weight that brings him to his knees. It loops around his arms, his fingers, holding him in its clutches until he can do nothing but succumb.
Here, in this space between light and dark, this pocket of in between realities, he succumbs. He falls, down and down and down, plummeting to a dark sea. Black and red. Blood and deep, deep water. But Link does not sink. No, he walks. That feeling, horrible and domineering, pulls him like a puppet along the raging sea.
In which the Chain meets after the events of Tears of the Kingdom and Sky is the last to join. It takes time for trust to be earned, especially with added confusion regarding the Goddess and timelines.
You know the drill.

“He doesn’t want us touching him,” Warriors said, gesturing over at the lump of blankets where the new Link was curled up. “Wouldn’t let me carry him away from the fire even though he was overwhelmed by the people.”
“This is addin’ up in a way I don’t like much,” Twilight said. “I know he’s a Link, but…” This seemed like a lot of trouble for someone so small, someone who hadn’t been on any adventures yet.
Legend stepped forward, looking angry at nothing in particular. “When I carried him to camp, I noticed how light he was. He said he’d gone into our camp because he was looking for food. He might be from around here, but that alone raises some questions. What was a kid his age doing, travelling in the woods, alone, with no food stores and no weapon?”
OR:
Link is lost, confused, and scared. There's no way he's gonna trust these weird warriors, even if they don't seem like they want to hurt him.
The chain wants to help this new little hero. And if they find their missing healer on the way, well... so much the better!
