Shang Qinghua let out a long, shaky breath. “Right. Okay. Sure. No problem. I can work with that. That’s fine.” He shifted the baby in his arms, looking down at the tiny, squirming face, the damp lashes clinging together. “You hear that? As long as you make it to the sect, everything’s good. Easy quest conditions. No trauma required.”
Luo Binghe made a faint snuffling sound, unimpressed.
Shang Qinghua’s smile collapsed almost instantly. “Oh, gods, what am I saying?” He scrubbed a hand over his face, leaving another smear of drying blood. “I’m not qualified for this! I can barely keep myself alive half the time! You need—uh—you need a responsible, kindhearted woman from a humble background with good soup-making skills, not a chronically overworked peak lord-slash-spy!”
The baby responded by making a small, gurgling noise that sounded alarmingly like agreement.
“Don’t sass me,” Shang Qinghua muttered. “You’re, like, twelve minutes old.”

Summary
Hostile engaging. Abort mission. I sent it on instinct, even though I knew it was much too late for that.
What's going on? I could feel ART poking through my sensor data, trying to figure out what had made my threat assessment spike. Its tone was urgent, but calm. It wasn't sure yet if there was a legitimate threat or I was just having a Moment again.
The answer was probably a solid "both".
All of my organic parts told me to run.
Most of my inorganic parts also told me to run.

It was just Din’s luck that the two find him worthy to wield the legendary blade when he decidedly disagrees.

Summary
During a routine mission, Midnighter and Apollo stumble upon a gruesome sight of carnage, with a monstrous Red Hood at the center of it.
In a desperate attempt to escape, Red Hood infects Midnighter. While searching for a cure, Midnighter and Apollo learn that there is far more to Red Hood's condition, and the man itself, than they originally thought.
There are more players in this game than they anticipated. And it's difficult to see who is friend and who is foe, when everything is red.

The first planetary visit during our teaching run with ART had been mostly fine.

All the humans had stayed on the path. They had refrained from touching unknown flora. They had given the small fauna we had come across a wide berth. The humans had, overall, been the best behaved clients I have ever had on a planet. I was impressed.

They had just left Pauper’s Drop when suddenly a tragedy struck. Sinclair ran out of smoking material! 10 years living in Rapture after its fall, & it had to happen now. Oh well, only thing to do now is to head out & pick up some more. But the sudden detour outside of the train cart ended up being a bigger adventure than Augustus had expected, & now Delta refuses to let him out of his sight. This couldn’t be any worse.
This fic is left in an unfinished state. Chapter 14 onwards are my notes regarding how I wanted to write the story, so you do get an idea of the remaining plot beats & the ending, but the fic is generally unfinished.

Jaster is shaken to the core by the events that occurred on Concord Dawn after the fight with Death Watch that now leave him questioning whether he is worthy or the right man to be Mand'alor. Din is struggling to understand his way forward with his child gone and rendered an apostate by his Armorer. Both go searching for a vision in hopes of knowing what their future holds on Shogun, where Mand'alore of legends past recieved guidance from the Manda. The Manda has its own ideas on what the future should hold for both these two Mandalorians, and it is nothing like what either expects.
