She had done a lot of stupid things in her life, enough to make a decent size list at least. Saving and then wasting her own, already limited, medical supplies on a mummy cosplayer who was trying to kill her definitely made the top ten.
With an irritated sigh she glanced at what she could only assume was an Egyptian god posturing over her in the corner of her tiny apartment, staring down at her despite the lack of eyes.

Eleanor always knew that being nice to strangers was going to bite her, she just never knew how literal it was going to be. She guessed it could be worse, she could be alone as a mindless murder machine but she found a family. A family that made her wish she was a mindless murder machine at time, but a family nevertheless.
All they have to do is survive living in Forks, Washington for a couple of years. How hard could that be?

Summary
Everything in the universe was up to chance. Everything that we know was the result of a random probability. A fact that tends to bring unease to people, after all, isn't it much safer to feel that there is meaning to everything. A grand plan at the end of the day? However, there are times when this probabilistic nature has a twisted sense of humor that you have to laugh at.
Times like when one breaks into a blind lawyer's apartment only to stumble upon the severely injured Daredevil who seemed as shocked as she was.
A blind vigilante, truly the punchline of a joke.

Summary
Énouement: The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turned out, but not being able to tell your past self.
There were a lot of reasons not to move to Gotham. The Arkham asylum patients escaping weekly not even making the top five. In fact, the reasons for moving to Gotham were minuscule compared to the reasons NOT to move. However, Ash was a simple woman. Just one acceptance letter to attend the prestigious Gotham University with a full scholarship, of course, she is in. Sure, her friends and family think she is crazy about that. Guess that means she will fit right in.
