Summary
Two children, Robert and Janelle, wake up in an alleyway with little idea how they got there. They decide to band together for the sake of their survival. The Z-team eventually find the two, and now they've got to deal with the younger versions of their teammate and dispatcher after they've been struck by a de-aging superpower. But maybe it's a good thing because now these two child soldiers get to experience the childhood they never had.

Legit cried over this one before it was even done! Actually sobbing crying real tears. AUGH! I wish to know more about how everything happened and what led up to the end, but also I really like how we're not told. The focus of the story is on the characters, who they are, who they were, and who they became. Not necessarily on what happened to make them this way. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into it. Maybe that's spoilers, so, sorry. I really liked this story and what it had to tell.

This fic made me cry. Genuine tears. In the middle of the night. I don't even remember the time. But it, it's so personal to me. The way they care about and love each other, that they work together to make things work? Tears. I get really invested in stories, especially ones made with love for what they're telling. I managed to finally finish the second season of ROTTMNT somehow (cause only season one is on Netflix)- I actually forget but it happened, I promise- just so I could read this fic. Gorgeous piece of art. I relate to Leo a lot (save me blue character that hides feelings with jokes), especially in ROTTMNT, so this was like reading a story where I get a turtle family that loves me and honestly? 10/10. Get me in those NYC sewers now, please. Eats this fic and it lands next to my heart to live for all eternity. Thank you!
