Summary
Monsters have lived on Earth for millennia, hiding in plain sight to avoid what humanity threatened in the past: death to anything abnormal or seemingly supernatural. Over time, with fewer monsters being seen, these real threats turned into the miserable endings promised to monsters in every story, but what was once the truth for monsters is now nothing more than a perceived figment of imagination to humans. Nonetheless, the fear persists and, despite their dwindling numbers, a monster's survival still means pretending to be human. But even monsters need a place to be themselves. Thankfully, you just have to know where to look.
Ushijima Wakatoshi doesn't believe in monsters. He's just looking for a quiet place to do his laundry.

Summary
Ushijima gets overwhelmed after a very long day's practice with another school, dragged to the end of his social tether. He fidgets with his favourite volleyball keychain until it breaks in the locker room. Tendou notices what's happened before anyone else and takes immediate action: this is that action.
Or: the one in which Tendou takes care of a very upset Ushijima.

Tendou glances at him, checking him over quickly before looking away, deciding to focus on Semi’s pink star-shaped glasses on the far bench. Ushijima’s head had been tilted towards his chest, mouth actively chewing on the side of his hand as he rocked. His other hand had made its way into his hair now, switching between clutching it and tugging almost desperately.
He didn’t need Tendou to ask him if he was okay. He knew he wasn’t.

The world was ending. Then it ended.

Having Inosuke Hashibira as his geography project partner was definitely a surprise for Tanjiro. Inosuke was the school's outcast, often found smoking alone or ditching classes somewhere. Some even said he repeated a year of high school after being imprisoned in a juvenile jail. It didn't matter what others said. The outcast's notoriety and his uncommunicative nature couldn't stop Tanjiro from finishing the project. He was not going to allow having Inosuke as a partner ruin his GPA.

Summary
