When Jason woke up buried under rubble, he already knew it was going to be a bad day. And with the hole in his stomach, bullet wounds in his chest, and concrete slabs pinning his legs down, he bitterly accepted his fate.
He always knew he was on borrowed time and just like last time, he was going to die alone.
There was a time when someone would’ve tried to save him. There was a time when he was loved.
But he burned those bridges a long time ago and now, there was no one around to care that he was taking his last breath.
After all, he used up all of Robin’s magic the first time and there were no more miracles left for him.

Dick squinted. “Jason?” His voice came out cautious, like he didn’t quite trust it. “You’re… older.”
He sighed. “Alright, I guess.”
Jason tilted his head. “That’s it? You don’t care that I’m here?”
Dick shrugged, still watching the alley below. “Well, I’m kind of on the job, so it isn’t the best time to break down.”
Jason blinked.“Can we like… delay this?” Dick added, his voice dry. “Show up in my kitchen while I’m eating cheese out of my opened fridge?”
Or Dick thinks he's hallucinating a very real Jason and invites the "hallucination" home. Jason thinks his brother is being freakishly calm, but hey, he's being accepted as he is so he doesn't care.

Summary

Tim has the chance to say far more than he expected when Jason digs himself out of his grave that night. Tim does his best to get Jason home to Bruce. The League of Assassins finds them first.

"Who's the brat?"
Damian feels his eyebrow quirk. What does he mean, who's the brat? Is that a tasteless joke? Is he pretending so Batman wouldn't know? Jason Todd, Red Hood, looks him up and down, face completely void of recognition yet a mix of smugness and annoyance twisting his mouth.
Todd's ridiculous game of pretending not to remember him is irking Damian up.
Or, Damian and Jason met in the League of Assassins, but upon coming to Gotham, Damian realizes Jason doesn't seem to remember him.
