Kim Dokja hates cliché storylines. It perfectly explains how he ends up with a new chaebol boss he antagonizes on his first shift, who seems to want to make it known through various hours of overtime and office hell.
After numerous late hour shifts and bullshit team building activities, Dokja starts to notice the instances he finds his boss' gaze on him are piling up more than his paperwork. A few problems with that:
1. He's not gay (his boss thinks he is)
2. He's not into his boss
3. That's his boss
4. Number 2. might be a lie, which inevitably means Number 1. might also be a lie -

Summary
Yoo Joonghyuk, most times, feels glad not to be involved in the Order's investigations. This is not one of those times. He almost died and he would catch the bastard responsible, fast. If he needs to work with some Demon King lunatic or even Han Sooyoung, then so be it.

Kim dokja is a vile person.
Kim dokja is well aware of that.
As a demon, and a demon king at that, his morals leave much to be desired.
As such, it is obvious that Kim dokja shouldn’t covet someone as pure (not really pure but he is to dokja) as Yoo joonghyuk. He might be able to blame his behaviour on his fucked past, but such a flimsy excuse makes even Kim dokja himself feel guilty.
But Kim dokja is a vile person, so why should he stop? Especially if the one and only Yoo Joonghyuk handed himself over on a silver platter.

Yoo joonghyuk, like other divine beings, needs faith of others as sustenance. But when the world forgot his story, there was only one who remained by his side, his only reader if you would.
So, despite his persistence that the person didn’t matter, Yoo Joonghyuk went against the better half of his mind to meet his reader.
annoying, clingy, smirking,… but his.
thus, Yoo Joonghyuk made his greatest decision, and biggest blunder; meeting Kim dokja.
