As a teen, it had irked Sifo-Dyas to no end that both his master and best friend were taller than he was, but at this point, things left out of his reach was just nostalgic.
He turned pleading eyes on his friend. “Dooku? I think Master Lene tied it too high for me to reach again.”
It had been several years since Sifo had seen Dooku outside of the temple, several years since Yoda and Lene had a falling out. He still wasn’t entirely clear what happened between Master Yoda and Master Lene. In the early years, it had almost seemed like they shared masters. Sifo had not truly realized how much he missed these quiet moments working side by side with Dooku. That's what made this mission so suspicious; this had all the makings of the type of test Yoda liked to inflict on people.Series

Harry gets his magical inheritance as a Necromancer on his 16th birthday, the first in centuries. Unsure of his future or even who to trust after the Light shuns him, Harry turns to the Dark, the only other side that can assist him in seeking his revenge. However, it's all just temporary. It's just an alliance until his goals are met and then that's it. Just temporary...right?
Slight Dumbledore and some Order member bashing. Sane Voldemort but Horcruxes do exist. A Harry/Voldemort but incredibly slow-burn. Not really graphic in deaths at least not yet. If that changes the rating will change. -

Sirius had bad memories of Grimmauld Place, tainted by his own less than stellar family. But for Harry, whose summers had previously involved being locked away either in a cupboard or Dudley's second room--with bars on the windows, no less--it was perfect.

With Sirius free from Azkaban and taking up his role as Harry's guardian, Voldemort pursuing a political path to power rather than bloodshed, and a defense teacher that isn't actively trying to kill him for once, Harry has high hopes for his third year at Hogwarts. It'll be nice to sit back and be a kid for once.Only Harry's life is never so simple, and he soon finds himself facing a myriad of new challenges: school bullies and new family dynamics, horcruxes all but falling into his lap, his deja-vu brain giving him mixed signals, and hidden murmurs arising from old Death Eater circles that may pose a threat to him regardless of his tentative alliance with Voldemort. Things seem destined to never be easy, but if there's one thing Harry knows by now, it's that he won't have to do it alone.

His heart twists in his chest as he glances back at the squalling, writhing fragment of Voldemort’s soul that he’s unknowingly nurtured for almost as long as he’s lived. Harry can still hear Dumbledore's words echoing inside his head, “Something beyond either of our help.” But… Is he really? How many times has Harry heard those very same words whispered among the residents of Little Whinging? How many similarities has he seen between himself and Tom Riddle ever since his second year, ever since he first wrote in that diary, despite Dumbledore’s assurances to the contrary?
Hagrid whisks him away from an abusive home and hexes his cousin for eating Harry’s birthday cake. Dumbledore believes the words of abusive caretakers and sets Tom Riddle’s precious few belongings on fire. If Harry wasn't who he is, then would they have believed the Dursleys over him? Would they have done the same thing to him? He doesn't know. The thought frightens him.
Harry picks up the fragment of Voldemort's soul, cradling the unnatural-looking baby in his arms as he walks forward. He boards the train.
He wakes up in his cupboard.
