Summary
Theo Nott comes to Harry with a rather unusual request—to harvest the basilisk that he killed during his second year and use that to help Theo cure a blood curse. Oh, and to feed Theo the heart so that he can become a Parselmouth. Harry decides this is better than feeling sorry for himself because the school thinks he’s a cheater, and begins the first steps on a journey down a radiant pathway with Theo at his side.

Summary
It’s the first day after Winter break with snow quietly falling outside the large, gothic windows, though you can hardly get anyone to go out into the cold, especially this early in the morning. For the past week, Harry had been trying to scrape together all his supposed bravery that let him get into Gryffindor, and the current peaceful atmosphere of the mid-breakfast Great Hall really isn’t helping his nerves right now.
“Hey, Hermione?” he casually asks over the buttered toast on his plate he hadn’t touched since Ron put it there. His hands are cold and wet and shaking and he hates it. “Do you think I have any living relatives outside the Dursleys?”
***Or: what if the Golden Trio decided that fuck it, they are getting Harry out of the Dursleys? Which of course means that they need a way to do that, which results in an impromptu break-in into the Restricted Section, some questionable decisions, and… Accidental Parent Acquisition.
Because I’m a sucker for Parent Tom Riddle, apparently.

“Your mother was a Hatake!?” Izuna shouted in disbelief, startling many of the Senju.
“Yes? I thought you knew?” Hashirama tilted his head, looking over to Tobirama who shrugged slightly.
“No, it seems like some of our intel was a bit outdated,” Madara sighed, pinching his brow. “Does this change anything else in the peace treaty? Any other culturally insensitive terms that need to be removed?”
Madara narrowed his eyes as Tobirama coughed, hiding his face for a moment. Did he just cover up a laugh?

Kagami knows he's not as important as the other kids in his clan, he also know that the his knew Sensei thinks that's BS so no way his he going to kill his Sensei no matter what Elder Yashiro says!
Tobirama likes his new student, even if the boy was sent to kill him (Kagami deserves better, Tobirama intends to see that he gets it).
Madara is furious beyond words right up until he isn't.
(the Senju are all carefully ignoring the tell-tale eyes of the clan heir's new kid, they might not be comfortable with Tobirama a lot of the time but everyone knows better than to try and separate him from a child, even if that means looking others in the eye and telling them to their faces that they would never have an Uchiha in the compound while Kagami spits fire behind them.)
