Summary
Reverse Flash finally had Barry beneath him in a helpless position.
He could do anything to him.
For years he fantasized about this moment.
So why was his strongest urge to kiss him?!
What the hell?!
Didn't help that Barry looked sexy as fuck like that and Eobard didn't get laid for a loooong time.
Reverse couldn't predict that their supposed fight will change so fast into a test on his self-restraint.
Wish him luck
Too bad that Barry's perspective is so different

Summary
Eobard's point of view from killing Nora to his first encounter with Barry as Reverse Flash.
The plan was simple: travel back to the year 2000, kill Barry Allen before he became the Flash, and then return to his own time. What could possibly go wrong?
Oh, so many things went wrong.
And catching feelings was definitely the worst of it!
Or was it?

Love and Hate are not so far from each other (Eobarry) by Volpina458
Fandom The Flash (TV 2014)
08 Jun 2026
Summary
Everything starts with Nora Allen's death.
First work shows Eobard's point of view through following years. How he slowly realizes that he doesn't actually hate this Barry Allen. How he gets more and more fond of him.
After Barry wakes up from the coma, Eobard tries to be real mentor to him. He wants him to become the best hero he could be. He actually likes to see him happy. He wants him to be happy.
Barry considers him a friend. And Eobard wants him to believe that as long as possible. He doesn't want to break his trust.
But he needs him to become faster, so he shows up as Reverse Flash once more.
He lures Barry to the stadium.
But doesn't fight him. Just pins him down.
And then it hits him that he wants to be more than just a friend to Barry.(End of first work)
But doesn't show it properly. At all.
Barry slowly falls for Eobard too. And hates himself about it.
He doesn't show it either, as he doesn't believe that Eobard could really love him.
So basically idiots in love!
Prepare for slow burn
